“Have you Eaten?” is a series of collaborative works with food as that explores the artist’s mutual obsession with food, its roles in love, care, identity and place.

Food is commonly the first introduction most people have to another culture. Coming from Thai and Chinese-Malaysian backgrounds there is a cultural obsession with food. This collaborative work uses food to explore how the change of culture and places affects people and how people adapt to the new environment. Also want to question the value of food within the cultural landscape and how it is so central to the migrant experience.

CERAMIX is an exhibition in which ceramic artists worked in collaboration with invited artists of their choice (working in other mediums), to create new works. By pairing ceramics with non-ceramics practices, CERAMIX explores the potential outcomes from cross-disciplinary collaboration and dialogue with a focus on experimentation. Moving beyond medium-specificity, it focuses on the open possibilities of clay as a starting point for making work.
